About Me

I was born in Porto San Giorgio, Italy and lived in Fermo (and also Altidona, Montegranaro, Porto Sant’Elpidio) until I was 19. I then moved to Bologna where I earned my Master in Computer Science. After that I spent 9 years in Helsinki working at the Nokia Research Center, (a multi-cultural world class environment). My research has focused on software architecture evaluations and design. I am currently finalizing my PhD at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands with my work in this area. My interests also include social network analysis and context aware mobile/Internet services.  See my research page.

In 2007 I moved to Madrid where I enrolled to the Internation MBA at IE Business School, a top ranked business school according to FT, The Economist, WSJ, BusinessWeek. In 2009 I returned to Nokia in Helsinki where I participated to the launch of mobile and Internet services.

At the end of 2009 I am ready for the next challenge, moving to San Diego, California to work on product marketing management and dealing with business strategy, roadmaps and planning to define the experience of Nokia CDMA mobile devices.

I am passionate about innovation, business strategy and digital convergence.  I like travelling, one interesting trip was across the transiberian railway from Helsinki to Vladivostok that lasted 26 days, some of the photos are here.
