Nokia has Maps and Google Maps

Nokia has FriendView and Google Latitude

Nokia has Sync and Google Sync

a few lessons learned:

  • the pattern above clearly shows the industry convergence
  • the barriers to entry are low (any of these players can easily launch a competing application)
  • any other lesson?
